Biography
David Taub, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified urologist and director of urologic oncology and director of urologic robotic surgery at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Taub specializes in treating urologic cancer.
Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute, Dr. Taub was on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association. Dr. Taub also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Dr. Taub’s research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including Urology, the Journal of Urology, BJU International, Neurourology and Urodynamics, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He has also presented at numerous industry events and conferences.
Dr. Taub’s care philosophy is to use a patient-centric, holistic approach. He believes patient treatment is a team effort that includes the physician, patient, their family and other specialized physicians, when necessary. His mission is to provide patients with safe, comfortable, quality care to achieve the best outcomes.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Taub enjoys being active through running, biking, traveling and spending time with family. He particularly enjoys being outside in the Florida sunshine.
