An MRI fusion biopsy is a diagnostic test that allows us to take more precise biopsies of a prostate tumor. This test combines an ultrasound with detailed images from an MRI. This combined image helps us pinpoint the exact location of the prostate tumor. The Institute was one of the first centers in the region to use this advanced testing process.
We offer genetic testing for people who may have a hereditary predisposition that increases their risk of developing cancer. Understanding this risk can help us develop better treatment and prevention plans for you and your family.

If we suspect you have a genetic risk for cancer, you’ll meet with our genetic counselor to discuss testing options. In some cases, we may recommend your family members undergo genetic counseling and testing to understand their risk.
