Global Programs, in collaboration with Baptist Health International, has two major efforts focused around licensing our know-how and bringing new technologies into the U.S. Our programs leverage and monetize intellectual assets that already exist at Baptist Health.
More than one billion people worldwide lack access to healthcare. To address this problem, clinical programs, hospitals and innovations are being developed at a rapid pace. As these developments move forward, there is a tremendous interest to partner with U.S. hospitals to apply proven practices, protocols, policies and technologies to the new healthcare infrastructure. This program applies Baptist Health’s intellectual assets in support of the design and creation of new hospitals, clinics and population-level care offerings. Its two major thrusts are licensing for new hospital development and applying or developing Baptist Health capabilities in concert with emerging healthcare regions in exchange for revenue return to Baptist Health.
This program brings cutting-edge technologies and companies into the U.S. by establishing the most effective entrepreneurial co-creation program in the world. South Florida is rich in educational and healthcare resources and has the cultural diversity to provide a natural soft landing for global innovators. The global development partnerships fostered through this approach will establish a new model that combines Baptist Health’s integrated care model with global entrepreneurism in healthcare and economic development. This program provides an opportunity for foreign companies to partner with Baptist Health strategically to gain an understanding of the U.S. market.
