Annual Giving

As a not-for profit healthcare organization, Baptist Health relies on the support of donors in our community to fulfill our mission to provide outstanding, compassionate care. Your gift giving has a positive impact on the care we provide, allowing us to reach more people with the latest research, technology and therapies available. Our generous donors also enable us to offer countless educational and training opportunities for our doctors, nurses and other providers to enhance their skills, knowledge and practice. In addition, donor support has helped us establish our Institutes in cancer, cardiovascular, neuroscience and orthopedics and sports medicine care.

You may select which Baptist Health hospital, Institute, or program you would like to support. You may also choose to make a recurring gift, tribute gift or single donation. But no matter how you contribute, rest assured your gift will make an impact on the quality of healthcare in our community – and that it is greatly appreciated.

Tribute Gifts

You can honor a loved one, living or deceased, by making a tribute gift. Whether it’s to celebrate the strength of a sister battling breast cancer, or remember a father who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, your donation to Baptist Health Foundation will help save the lives of future patients by supporting advanced research, clinical trials and state-of-the-art medical technology. In addition, your loved one or their family will receive an acknowledgement of your caring and thoughtful gift.

Employee Giving

While our South Florida community is a generous source of annual contributions, we are also grateful to our own employees for their support. Baptist Health is one of South Florida’s largest employers, with approximately 23,000 employees, and their loyalty and commitment to our organization is proven when they give back as part of our Employee Annual Giving campaign. Since the campaign’s inception in 2015, Baptist Health employees have raised more than $1 million, enabling us to fund research, offer cutting-edge technology, develop innovative approaches to treatment and provide extraordinary care to our patients. Employees can choose to give where the need is greatest, or to one of almost 60 system-wide funds.

Making a Difference: Pediatric Infusionarium

Giving back helps our employees connect with what Baptist Health stands for on a deeper and more personal level. Thanks to our spirited employees, a new Infusionarium for pediatric cancer patients was created at Miami Cancer Institute. The Infusionarium, which combines immersive video technology with life-saving infusion therapy such as chemotherapy or IV antibiotics, was fully funded by our employees, who contributed $500,000 through a commemorative brick campaign.
